The Principle of the Fulcrum

main-content-inline-small-1.jpg

It has been said that if you have the right fulcrum and a long enough lever, you could move the world.  It's about leverage and pivoting at the right spot.

When you understand the principle of the fulcrum, probably for the first time, you are understanding what it means to be directed by the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit delights in men and women who follow His lead. He'll lead you, teach you and instruct you in the way that you should go. Psalm. 32:9 "Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, Whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, Otherwise they will not come near to you."

When our lives pivot on the Holy Spirit - our decisions, our actions, our thoughts, and all that we are - then the principle of the fulcrum comes into play.  Is your life pivoting on the Holy Spirit?

REACH

Thought for today: Reach deep into the word and let God disciple you.  Reach out in seeking to evangelize the lost.  Reach up in worship with your fellow believers.  Reach for God....

We Need You

As we gear up for the upcoming Halversen seminar, we need to have you involved in the seminar.  Our biggest needs are always greeters and row hosts.  But we'll also need people to enter information into our database, ushers, parking lot people, and in the kids areas.

Keep a look out over the next few weeks for the sign-up pages at church, or you can head on over to VancouverAdventist.com and fill out the form there.
