Attitude: The power of God determines your attitude Where are we going as a church?  Do these questions challenge or hinder?  Take a moment to pray about our church and how our decisions will affect us.  Then please go and read the latest update for the Mission/Vision blog and take time to comment on the possible mission statement - we're seeking input.... 	eNews - Adventist Community Church FYI - What's Happening! VBS - all this week at 6:15pm until Thursday.  Come on out and join the fun. Mission/Vision Team Meets tonight at 7pm.  Please pray for this team as we progress through our defining time Finance Team Meeting - Weds at 7pm Church Board - June 24 at 7pm Heritage Singers - Concert on Thursday evening 7pm. Gene and Sara (and family) - going away part at 6pm.  Don't miss out on this as we send them out to do the Lord's work.  It's an exciting time, albeit sad. Church each week meets 8:45 in the intimate worship service 10am for Sabbath School study times for all ages. 11:10am 2nd Worship Service.

Adventist Community Church - eNews The pictures above are a way of expressing how life can get when Monday starts. Mondays have a reputation for going wrong. It seems as if everything can go wrong - makes people angry, impatient and a little too expressive. You and I can make a difference in someone's life by simply giving them a quick, cheerful phone call. A simple, "How are you today?" or "I was praying for you today, how's it going?" or "I called to say I love you and that even in the midst of your problems, you would know you were cared for" would make an incredible difference in the lives of co-workers, friends, and family. A kind word, a patient word, a thoughtful lift is like opening the door to a bright future. It pulls people up out of the dusty ground they are on and leads them to a verdant grassland. Why not call someone today!? 1 Corinthians 10:31 says this: 31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. FYI - What's Happening! Tomorrow (Tuesday, June 9) - Conference Call Prayer Meeting resumes at 6:30am. The dial-in number is: 518-825-1300, and the participant access code is: 558256. Plan to join us tomorrow for a time of prayer. Also Tomorrow - Planning Team meeting for the VBS - check it out on the church calendar. Wednesday - the Mission/Vision Team meeting renews meeting. June 17 - Finance Committee Meeting June 18 - The Heritage Singers in concert at 7:00pm, at our church. This is a great event to bring your non-Adventist friends to. June 20 - The Heinrich Family Going Away Party at 6pm June 24 - Church Board Meeting. July 14-18 - Campmeeting in Gladstone!
